Je Me Suis Marié

Oh, I am married, and I have regret from the soul
the woman that I took. Oh, the cruel woman.
She will go to the club, she drinks and she becomes lively.
When she comes home, she isn't happy.
I have washed the dishes, bright as a star.
And the cruel woman, she is again not happy.
She grabs the tongs, she throws them at my head.
The plate of stew, she throws at my nose.
Young men of the countryside, take me as an example.
Don't let your wife wear the pants.
If you give her the pants, she becomes unmanageable.
She becomes unmanageable, maitresse de la maison.

I've just noticed the title and lyrics have been edited to
the actual way Dewey says it. Until recently I thought
the song's video title was spelled wrong (marillé) since
the live versions I heard before used the word "marié".

Then I listened to the Balfa Bros' recording and realized my mistake.
