Motor Dude was the name of Boozoo's prize winning quarter horse. Boozoo raised quarter horses outside of Lake Charles, LA in Dog Hill, LA. This song celebrated the finest horse Boozoo ever bred. https://www.equibase.com/profiles/Results.cfm?type=Horse&refno=629583&registry=T&rbt=TB
Anyway I had the occasion to speak with Boozoo and his family a couple of times on my frequent trips to New Orleans. He was a great entertainer in my book. I was present at Tipitina's when Boozoo was crowned "The King of Zydeco". He was God rest his soul.
